GENERAL REMINDERS FOR ALL
Reduce your packing list by teaming up
If you know other parents, you could group up to organise some communal items (like BBQ, cookware, sports equipment) to reduce what each person needs to bring and reduce the chance of things being left behind.
Weather considerations
- Check the weather forecast before departing
- Pack extra layers – evenings can be cool even in summer
- Waterproof clothing is essential regardless of forecast
Leave no trace
Let’s all do our bit to keep the site tidy. Remember, it’s the SASS team that does the final sweep, so please take home whatever you bring and leave the space as we found it.
What NOT to bring
- Valuable jewellery or electronics (unless essential)
- Glass containers
- Excessive amounts of alcoholÂ
- Items that could pose safety risks to children
